低头族，（英文名：phubbing单词由澳大利亚麦肯和Macquarie大辞典联手精心杜撰而来，形容那些只顾低头看手机而冷落面前的亲友的“低头族”），是指如今无论何时何地，个个都作“低头看屏幕”状，有的看手机，有的掏出平板电脑或笔记本电脑上网、玩游戏、看视频，想通过盯住屏幕的方式，把零碎的时间填满的人。他们低着头是一种共同的特征，他们的视线和智能手机，相互交感直至难分难解。

　　“Cell phone zombies”might start getting ticketed on the busy sidewalks of New York City if a proposed law in the New York state legislature gets passed.
